Example and checks
Extraction produces one PDF from a selection; range-group mode produces one PDF per line of ranges. Pages keep their source order inside a group, so 5,1 selects pages 1 and 5 rather than reordering them. Splitting creates new files and does not modify the source. Check each result before sharing: removing pages is not redaction of information on the pages you kept.

Does page extraction change the source PDF?
Creates new files without modifying the source. Up to 100 output files and 2,000 page copies. Pages retain source order within each group; encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first.
