Example and checks
File order determines document order. Within each source, selected pages retain source order; page numbers refer to physical positions starting at 1, not printed chapter labels. The example combines the first two pages of one file with the third page of another. Open the output to check boundaries, orientation and page count. Encrypted files must be unlocked beforehand, and rewriting does not preserve digital signatures.

Encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first. Digital signatures are not preserved by rewriting.
